Wife of the late Duarte P. "Eddie" Caetano, Alice last lived at 173 Swansom Rd., Swansea, MA. She passed away in Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Her parents Joao Machado and Maria(Medeiros) Machado and one sister, Mary Furtado, left this life before Alice died.

Alice had a career as a Machine Operator at Kim & Jim Sportswear and served as a President of VFW Post 8500, Ladies Auxiliary in Somerset. She was a member of St. John of God Church.

She is survived by one sister: Hilda Barboza of Somerset, Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral was at Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home,1521 No. Main St., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset
