Fern Boswell Snow, 88, passed away on September 10, 2010 in Sandy, Utah.
She was born on September 23, 1921 in Mount Emmons, Utah, to Volney and Ester Chase Boswell. Fern married Arthur E. Snow on September 24, 1941 in Price, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
She loved to quilt, sew, make porcelain dolls, belt buckles and jewelry out of rocks and spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Fern was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in a variety of different callings. She volunteered at the Jordan River Temple for 10 years.
Survived by her children, Arsenath (Laird) Hartman; Dianne Bateman; Carla (Norm) Wood; Nora (Dan) Visser; Nolan (Donna) Snow; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Douglas Bateman; grandson, Jeremy Bateman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Mount Jordan 3rd Ward, 8950 South 400 East. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street and one hour prior to the services, at the church. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
