Bernice A. Bitter, 70 died May 12, 1984, at her home on Ottumwa Route 5.
The daughter of Fritz and Esther Anderson Lagerstrom, she was born Nov. 15, 1913 in Ottumwa. She married Francis L. Bitner at Lancaster, Mo. in 1934.
She is survived by her husband; a son, LaVone (Swede) Bitner of Bensonville, Ill; a brother, Edwin Lagerstrom of Ottumwa, and Five Sisters, Signe Piper, Ruth Hendricks, and Bertha Maxwell of Ottumwa, Martha Sweetland of Westminster, Calif., and Mary Heckenberg of Eddyville.
Pallbearers will be Terry and Paul Heckenberg, Bobby Hendricks, Charles Maxwell, Gary Lagerstrom, and Doug Piper.
