Survivors: Daughters, Deborah Hayes, Liberty, Peggy Meyer, Pendleton, Gloria Ruckdeschel and Karen Killingsworth, Alpharetta, Ga., Leah Counsil, Lawrenceville, Ga., Rebecca Slaton, Monroe, Ga.; siblings, Leland, Kenneth and Eugene Dobson, Christine McAlister, Florence Craig, Ethel Martin, Barbara McAlister; seven grandchildren. Predeceased: Homer Sr. and Rosa, brother, Henry.

Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at The McDougald Funeral Home. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Refuge Baptist Church.
