CANTON, S.D. - Julda Alida Bankson, 91, died Friday in Marshalltown, Iowa.
Julda Sandven was born in Lincoln County, S.D. She married Frank Bankson, June 22 1915, in Canton. She taught school at Prairie Grove School in Lincoln County, and in the Canton Grade School. The couple lived in the Canton area most of their life. Her husband died in 1952.
Survivors include a son, Rev. Donald P. Bankson, Kent, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. H. V. Hellberg, Marshalltown; seven grandchildren and four grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Canton Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Anderson Funeral Home in Canton. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
