Henry R. Detherow was born July, 27, 1932 in Marshfield, Mo., to Carl and Hannah (Tannehill)Detherow. He passed away September 9, 2010 in his home in Ozark, Mo., after a long illness. Henry was retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of dedicated service to his country. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Henry is survived by his wife, Carmen (Greer) Detherow; three sons, John Detherow, of Marshfield, Mo., Donald Detherow, of Ozark, Mo., and Henry R. Detherow, Jr. "Babe", of Ozark, Mo.; two daughters, Lisa Maples, of Highlandville, Mo., and Julie Hurley, of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Dorothy Climer; brother, Bud Detherow; and numerous grandchildren and reat-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 12, 2010, from 5 to 7 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 1 p.m., in Greenlawn South, with burial to follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery.
