Mr. Gangwer had spent most of his life in Clinton County before moving to Mrs. Marsh's home in 1966.
He was born on Sept. 26, 1882, the son of William and Lydia Buck Gangwer.
He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ at Mulberry.
His wife, Mrs. Pearl M. Beisel Gangwer, died June 24,, 1967. They were married November 25, 1903.
Mr. Gangwer is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marsh of Greenfield Route 5 and Mrs. Donald Plue of St. Joseph, Michigan; two sons, Everett of Hood River, Oregon, and Herman of Glen Ellyn, Illinois. … grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Mulberry at 2:00 Wednesday at the Trinity United Church of Christ, Rev. Walter Vonderohe officiating. Burial was in Fair Haven Cemetery.
