He was the husband of Gwendolyn June Padgett,and the
son of James Edgar ( Joe) and Lula Downs Tapp Feaster.

He was drafted in World War II and he was in patnership as co-owner of the Avalon Grocery Store In Avalon ,Ellis County,Texas before entering the war.
He was the father of 4 living children;3 sons- Jerry Paul and wife Sandra of Whitewright,Texas,Donald and wife Joyce of Waxahachie and Ronald of Waxahachie,Texas.1 Daughter-Sharon Tarpley and husband Tony of Red Oak,Texas.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, an infant daughter and a 1/2 brother Durwood Feaster.
He is survived by his wife ,his children and 8 grandchildren,1 great grandchild, 2 sister-in-laws and their husbands.

Paul started to school in a little one room school house about a mile from his home. The school was named Center School but known by many as Push College, because once a storm blew the school house off the foundation blocks and the men of the community pushed it back . He started to regular school in about the 4th grade in Avalon,Ellis County,Texas.This school was 3 miles from his home.
He graduated from Avalon High School in 1935. He went to work for Millers Grocery in Avalon,Texas and worked there until 1940. He and Aubrey Berry purchased a store across the street from Millers Grocery and worked in it until 1942,when Paul went into the army in World War II. He was in the army from January 1942 until October 1943. He went to work for Parks Grocery and stayed there for 9 years, then working for Piggly Wiggly as assistant manager until 1955. Paul also worked for Safeway as produce manager for 6 years, onto Truitts grocery and Danny's until retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Avalon for 17 years and moving his membership to the Central Presbyterian Church in Waxahachie about 1946 and remaining in membership there until his death in 1990.
