Gary Lee "Curly" Johnston

Gary passed away on August 27, 2010. He was born October 1,1946 in Casper, Wyoming to Derlin B. and Helen I. Johnston.

He delivered freight for 43 years for four different companies, the last being MME.

In 1967 he married Mary Shanafelt and they had three children Hal, Cori, and Chris (Erika).They later divorced. He spent his last 30 years with his wife Debbie. They had two children Justin (Sara) and Jennifer (Kayce).

Besides being the loving father of five, many other children adopted him and became one of his own.

He also enjoyed the outdoors, tinkering in his shop and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife; his children; three sisters, Joanne Bray, Mary Pike and Sandy Alexander; and one brother, Ronnie; fourteen grandchildren; five great grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy.

Memorial services will be held at Word Christian Fellowship on Saturday, September 11th at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gary Johnston memorial fund at Hilltop National Bank.
