Abundio Armijo, Jr. (Bundy) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife, children, a sister, a niece and a nephew, on Thursday evening at Christus St. Vincent's Hospital. Abundio was a very loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife: Laurentia M. Armijo (Lari); daughters: Rose M Armijo of Santa Fe, Rachael A Zoltai and husband John T. Zoltai of White Rock, Roberta Armijo (Robynn) and life partner Geri Salazar; son: Tim M. armijo of Santa Fe; grandsons: Lucas D. and Ian L Zoltai of White Rock; sisters: Maida Martinez, Margarita Armijo (Maggie) and Maria A. Barton of Santa Fe. Abundio graduated from Santa Fe High in 1949 and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Santa Fe Police Force and the Postal Service. He was a member of the VFW, and president of the Santa Fe Chapter of Amended Hearts, and a lifetime member of Cristo Rey Catholic church. He was a proud patriarch of the Armijo family In lieu of flowers please make donations to the New Mexico Heart Association . A visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. A Memorial Service will be recited at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church followed by interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
