She was first married to Jefferson Davis Reece in 1883, they divorced and she married William Lacy Bowman, She and Jeff had a daughter, Nancy June or Jane Reese, who died Nov. 1885. She had two sons with Mr. Bowman before they divorced.

If you have noticed how well she dressed, it is said people would travel miles just to see what she was wearing.
She ran a Hotel/Rooming house in Fries it was said to be one of the most Popular because Lucy was such an Interesting Woman and always so Fashionable .
