Mrs. Wallace, born in St Joseph on Aug. 19, 1921, was a lifelong resident of St Joseph. A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith and a member of the auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6760. On Jan. 14, 1948, she married Virgil Wallace in St Joseph. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Orcutt; her parents, Hiram and Adah Blair; two brothers, Elbert and Clyde Blair; and a grandchild.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Priscilla Clary and Barbara Green, both of St Joseph; three sisters, Alma Townsend of Oskaloosa, Kan., Bernice Bash of Denver and Helen Hickock of Los Angeles; and a grandchild." St Joseph News-Press, March 30, 2000
