"The body of Hiram R. Blair, who lived in St Joseph for many years before moving to King City, Mo., is at the Rupp funeral home, pending arrangements. Mr. Blair, 68, died yesterday afternoon. He was fatally stricken while attending a farm sale near Rea, Mo.

Born at Weatherby, Mo., Mr. Blair worked for the St Joseph Stock Yards Co., for 33 years. Three years ago he retired and moved to King City. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Blair are his wife, Mrs. Adah Blair of the home; two sons, Elbert Lee Blair of Rushville and Clyde Blair of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Hickok of Grenada Hills, Calif., Mrs. Bernice Walters of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Juanita Wallace and Mrs. Alma Townsend, both of St Joseph; six brothers, Harrison Blair of Blair, Kan., Earl Blair of Cameron, Mo., John Blair of St Louis, Ben Blair and Elisha Blair, both of Rolla, Mo., and Edwin Blair of St Joseph; three sisters, Mrs. Lewis Stackhouse and Mrs. Minnie Teeter of St Joseph, and Mrs. Bess Lovelady of Julian, Neb.; and 13 grandchildren."
