Daughter of Henry Green Boyle, 1824-1902 and Keziah Donnell Holladay Boyle, 1834-1853. Louisa was a registered midwife and an excellent cook. Her husband William Aaron Carter, Sr. survived her.

NOTE: Louisa's mother -Keziah Holladay Boyle died on Nov. 29th 1853 at San Bernardino, California, "aged 19 years 1 month and 17 days."
