From The Arizona Daily Star (Tucson, AZ) - Wednesday, March 4, 1953:

George Lester Boyle, 63, member of a pioneer Arizona family, died Monday night at the home of a son, Clay, at 701 Hatfield drive.

Born in Pima, Graham county, on Independence Day, 1889, Mr. Boyle was the son of Henry and Arabelle Boyle, Mormon pioneers and missionaries in Arizona Territory. In 1913 he married Leeta Follett and homesteaded at Sunset, where he devoted his time to cattle ranching.

Survivors include another son, George; two daughters, Mrs. Claire Warren and Mrs. Virginia White, and eight grandchildren, all of Tucson.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. today at the Arizona mortuary chapel under auspices of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will follow in South Lawn Memorial park.
