Sam A. Keyser, 93, of Rt. 1, Geff, died at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Visitation and services will be held at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with Bro. Raymond Watson presiding. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery near Mt. Erie.

He was born Nov. 22, 1892 in Wayne County, the son of Alcanzo and Julia (Kerr) Keyser. He married Nellie Fitch on Dec. 9, 1914, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 12, 1969.

He married Trella Rusk on Dec., 20, 1971, and she survives.

In additon to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Willis, of Cisne and Walter Lee of Geff; two daughters, Mrs. Clifton (Wilma) Denny of Mt. Erie and Mrs. Lawrence (Wanda) Hooper of Evansville; a step-son, Donald Rusk of Noble; a brother, Vern Keyser of Mt. Erie; a sister, Mrs. Josie Garrison of Cisne, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, one brother, one son and one grandchild.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Pleasant HillMissionary Baptist Church near Mt. Erie.
