FORT MADISON - Mrs. Sadie P. Billings, 74, of 1434 Avenue D, Ft. Madison, died at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, January 29, at St. Francis Hospital in Burlington.
Mrs. Billings was born April 16, 1897, in Wyaconda, Missouri, the daughter of William W. and Nancy Lewis Harvey, and married Clarence M. Billings July 4, 1917, in Wyaconda.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Ft. Madison.
Surviving: One son, William A., of Fort Madison; two daughters,, Mrs. Stanley Richards, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Kenneth Meyer, Calmar; one brother, Frank, Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Ivan Morrow, Carthage, Illinois; Mrs. Arthur Lenhart and Mabel Harvey, Ft. Madison; 16 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday, January 31, Nielers Chapel, Ft. Madison; Rev. Gerald F. Sawyer; Wyaconda, Missouri Cemetery.
