Estelle Carver 77, of St. George, GA died on Thursday January 9, 2014 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs Carver was born on June 26, 1936 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Andrew Jackson Akins and Henrietta Susannah Barrs Akins. Survivors include 2 daughters Mary Ann Carver of St. George, Kathy Emery(Dale) of Jacksonville, Fla son Felton L Carver(Mercedes) of Jacksonville, Fla brother, Andrew Jackson Akins of Alabama, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Carver. Graveside service will be held Monday January 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Vickers Rural Cemetery with Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
