Funeral services for Alva Ewing, 77, of Cement, were held Saturday, 12/14/1985, in the chapel of Sevier funeral home.
He was born 12/18/1907 in Binger, OK, and died Wednesday, 12/11/1985, in Grady Memorial hospital. Mr Ewing moved to Tuttle at the age of 5 and farmed til 1947. He then moved to Cement, OK., and worked for G.H. Ray Well Service Company and Young's Well Service Company until retiring in 1970.
He married Juanita Harlan 9/27/1933 in Chickasha. He is preceded in death by 1 sister, Elsie Long, 2 brothers, Frank & Orville Ewing and 5 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita of the home, 1 daughter, Wanda Brown of Chickasha, 2 sons, Aubrey Ewing of Perryton, TX & Jerry Ewing of Sand Springs, OK., 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Interment was in Fairview cemetery in Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home.
