Mrs. Harriet Frances Davis, widow of Hiram Davis, died at the home of her son-in-law, Charles M Thoms, in this city Tuesday evening. Mrs. Davis was born in Pittsfield, Mass. on June 23, 1817 and was in her 92nd year. She was the daughter of Albert and Mabel Bow Wilson who were among the earlier settlers in Rochester. Mr. Wilson visited the vicinity as early as 1822, bought a lot and erected a house at what is now the corner of Exchange and Spring Streets. Two brothers are still living, John Wilson of this city at 94 years and George Wilson also of Rochester, 87 years old.
On May 3, 1822 Harriet Frances Wilson was married to Hiram Davis who was for many years well known as a business man of the city.
Mrs. Davis leaves three daughters; Mrs. DW C. Huntington of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mrs J.P. Taylor and Mrs. C.M Thoms, both of Rochester, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church which she joined in 1822. At the time of her death she was the oldest member in this vicinity. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 o'clock."

Harriet was 91y, 1m, and 14d. She was living at Argyle St, Rochester.
