A native of Rockingham County, Agnes Comer Truitt Lamberth was the daughter of the late Buck and Eula McCollum Comer. She received her training as a registered nurse from St. Leo's School of Nursing in Greensboro, NC. Her deep love for the Lord was her source of joy, and the foundation of her integrity and generosity. She was always willing to share wisdom and laughter while serving many through nursing, cooking, and hospitality. Agnes leaves a rich legacy of love to the many family members and friends in whose lives she invested.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands S.F. (Ike) Truitt and William E. (Bill) Lamberth, Sr. and nine siblings.
