Mrs. Alice DeForest, 72, died at Mercy hospital in Jackson, Tuesday morning following a few days' illness. Mrs. DeForest had been living with her sister, Mrs. Sarah Wildt, east of Homer, and had spent the most of her life in this vicinity. She is the widow of Delmar DeForest, who died in November, 1937. She is survived by two sons, Frank DeForest of Albion and Millard DeForest of Pulaski; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Kregar of Homer and Mrs. Iva Weeks of Rives Junction, and a sister, Mrs. Wildt of Homer. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Pulaski hall and burial took place in the Fisher cemetery.
