Murry D. Stewart, Sr., 74, of Vaiden, a retired lumberman, died Tuesday, May 24, 1988, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona.
He is survived by two sons, Bill Stewart of Madison and Murry Duard Stewart, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Alva Bell Alford of Vaiden; two brothers, Dudley Stewart of Vaiden and Donnie Stewart of Hannibal, Mo., and three grandchildren.
Memorial services were conducted from Lee Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26. The Rev. John A. Wade preached. Interment was in Vaiden Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Alford, Walter Alford, Jerry Alford, Jessie Stewart, Buddy Stewart and Shorty Stewart. Lee Funeral Home handled arrangements.
