Charlie Plez Stewart, 67, of Vaiden, died Wednesday, April 14, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Leneva Stewart, of Vaiden; one daughter, Edie Cooper of Beatrice, Alabama; one son, Charles M. Stewart of Marietta, Georgia; one sister, Alva Bell Alford of Vaiden; four brothers, Murry D. Stewart, Dudley Stewart, Jessie Stewart, all of Vaiden and Donnie Stewart of Florence, Mississippi; and four grand¬children.
Services wer held Friday, April 16, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randal C. Lindsey officiating. Burial was in the Vaiden Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Stewart, Duard Stewart, Bill Nelms, William Louis McCorkle. Greg Mullen and James Alford.
Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
