Harriett Bejnarowicz Samar, 96, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital. She worked as a hair dresser at Samar's Hair Stylist alongside her husband. She was predeceased by her husband, George Samar, in 1968 and her daughter, Ninette Samar, in 2004. Harriett is survived by her son, Vincent Samar of Chicago, IL; her sister, Lucy Wysocki of Camillus, NY; sisters and brothers-in-law, Florence and Dominic Delperuto of East Syracuse, NY, and William and Ellen Samar of Rochester, NY. Funeral services will be 7:45 a.m. Saturday from PIRRO & SONS FUNERAL HOME and 8:30 a.m. in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 259 East Onondaga Street, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
