AKA PHYLLIS E. BRINLEY DYET

She was the 3rd of 10 children born to Lester and Florence E. Bishop Christensen. Phyllis lived in Price, Utah, Rock Springs, Wyoming and Los Osos, California. She married Hyman Atwood in 1927, later divorced. Then married John Ervin Brinley December 11, 1933. He died Feb. 28, 1962. She then married Clifford Dyet on Oct. 11, 1964. Cliff passed away on Aug. 11, 1977 and was buried with his first wife, Alice. Phyllis is buried beside John.

Phyllis was a member of the LDS Church and held many callings in the Relief Society and Primary. She was a member of the Price Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, Pythain Sisters and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She worked at a nursing home, the Senior Citizen Center in Price and was a member of the Kitchen Band. She liked to bowl, read, crochet, travel and visit with her children and their families. She especially loved family reunions.

She was the mother of five children: Lester Cleon (Arlene) Atwood, Billings, Montana; Melvin Jerry (Beverly Jane )Brinley, Kent, Washington, Beverly Ann (Bill) Routh, Rock Springs, Wyoming; John Ervin Jr. (Judi) Brinley, Kent, Washington; William Afton (Eva) Brinley, Salt Lake City.
Phyllis was the proud grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, son, Melvin Jerry Brinley, one granddaughter, Billie Marie Routh and one great-granddaughter, Christine Lynn Hendricks.
