While researching, I came across the following information:
Hickory Ridge cemetery is not located AT Lavaca, but closer to Beverly, Arkansas (straight line meas. is about 2 miles)and is at the corner of Sullivan Road and Hickory Ridge Road (State Highway 217)Lavaca is about 5 miles SW of Beverly. The Cemetery Entrance is at Long: 35.3648815 and Lat: -94.0883038. In addition, VESTA where James died is 3 miles ENE of Beverly, in Franklin County, not Sebastian County.
FAMILY LEGEND HAS JAMES AND SOME OF HIS FAMILY BURIED HICKORY RIDGE BUT LOCATION WAS LAVACA, BUT THE CEM. IS DIVIDED BETWEEN TWO COUNIES, BY A FENCE. IF YOU LOOK AT A GOOGLE SATELITE MAP, IT IS CLEARLY VISIBLE.
