Eula Houchin Hall Kerns, 87 of Orma, Calhoun County, died April 5, 2001 at her home following a long illness.
Born at Leatherbark, she was a daughter of the late Grover and Stella Matheney Houchin. She was active all her life having operated a service station and store in Spencer with her first husband, the late Doy Hall. She was also employed by Kellwood. She was a member of the Beech United Methodist Church.

Surviving, husband Delcord Kerns; sons, Donzil R. Hall of St. Paris, Ohio, Paul E. Hall of Alliance, Ohio and Darius W. Hall of Wooster, Ohio; daughters, Laura McAskill of Santa Anna, California, Nina R. Hall of Long Beach, California and Norma Pearman of American Fork, Utah; sisters, Opal Jett and Bernice Laughlin of Arnoldsburg, Madge McKown of Beech and Marie McKown of Doylestown, Ohio; brothers, Clyde Houchin and Grover Houchin, Jr. of Arnoldsburg; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother Forrest Houchin and a sister Ruth Simmons.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg by the Rev. Rick Metheney and Cleston Garrett. Burial will be in the Road Run Cemetery near Arnoldsburg. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Sunday
