Archibald Dye was my 4th Great-Grandfather; he was born in Greene Co, PA; the son of Andrew Dye (1774 – 1838) and Jane Guthrie (born 1778)– and was part of a large family, with ten siblings. At age 20, on the 27th day of April, 1819, Archibald was married to Margaret Meredith, in Miami,Ohio,USA.
Nine or ten children were born to Archibald and Margaret Dye; their second child was Maria Louise, who later became wife of Joseph H. Louthain. They were my 3rd Great Grandparents.
