Frank Batton, 66, of Glenrock, and rancher in that area since 1918, died at his home Sunday. Mr. Batton was born in Tom Green County, Texas on February 23, 1893. He came to Wyoming in 1918 and settled on a ranch near Glenrock. He was also an undersheriff of Converse County, serving under Bill Silver, an early-day long-time sheriff. Survivors include his wife; a son, Frank, Jr.; and two daughters, Mrs. Elva Wilson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Mona Dunham of Buffalo, Wyo.; and two brothers and three sisters.
