Mrs. Nettie F. Broy, who was born in Ewing on February 4, 1887, departed this life at 12:32 Sunday afternoon at her home in Bloomington, Ill. She was united in marriage April 24, 1907, to Charles S. Broy and they had 36 years of happy life together. To their union five chidren were born, one of whom died in infancy. Surviving her are her husband; four children, Charles Broy, L. Broy, Mrs. Dan Williams, and Mrs. I. Stumb, all of Bloomington, Ill.; five grandchildren, Richard H. Stumb, who is in the Navy, L. Jr., H. D., R. D. and Glenna Marie Broy; two brothers, Sam Chance and Bill Chance of Ewing; and a sister, Kate Price of Loveland, Colorado, as well as several nephews and nieces and many friends.
