In 1899 Loucious and Lula met on a wagon train headed to Colorado, They fell in Love and eloped. They stayed in the Colorado/ New Mexico area cutting lumber for the railroads until about 1903 when they moved to Oklahoma. They stayed there until about 1924, loaded up all the kids and headed for Texas ending up in Iowa Park where they raised their family.
