Cloy was born on April 11, 1923 in Calvin, OK to Loucious and Lula Holloway. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines during WWII. Cloy will be remembered as a “Godly Man” who loved his Lord. Cloy was an ordained minister and served as associate pastor of South Side Baptist Church in Weatherford in the early 1970’s.
Cloy is survived by his children, Lee Roy (Judy) Holloway of Haskell, TX, Carl Daniel (Donna) Holloway of Fort Worth, Cleo Beth Harrington (Kenneth) of Weatherford, Rita Karen Pritchard of Aledo, Virginia Ann (Jack) Wake of Georgetown, TX, and June Beatrice (Charlie) Hardin of Garner, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, Cloy was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie; four brothers, Clark, Clarence, Charlie, Cran and three sisters, Cora, Cornella, Callie; and by one granddaughter, Jae Jae Warick-Williams.
