Services for Mrs. Anna Helen Houston, 83, of Cisco, will be at 3:30 pm Friday at Holly-Rhyne Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. W.L. Myers. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Houston died Wednesday evening at Eastland Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born Anna Helen Truly on March 10, 1891, in Eastland, she married Captain Poe Houston. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Bryant of Rising Star; two grandchildren, Sam Houston of Houma, LA, and Mrs. Christine Hammer of Cisco; and seven great-grandchildren.
