Wayne County Outlook
March 20, 1913

On March 10, 1913, the death angel visited the home of Mr. J.B. Dishman and claimed for its own his dear wife. She is survived by her husband and son James. She had been a member of the church for years.

We weep not as those who have no hope, for we believe she is safe in the arms of Jesus. May her loved ones who are out of Christ follow her example and go to Jesus. We can't think of her as being dead; in our imagination we can see her on the golden shore beckoning her loved ones come.

We wish to thank the neighbors for the kindness shown us during her sickness and death. Our hearts are made sad, but we can look up to Him who doeth all things well, and who never makes any mistake, and Thy will be done. She cannot come back to us but we can go to her.

It seems so nice to live but now her home is sad, and she will no more fill a place in her home. Only in our hearts with loving remembrance will she abide.
