Rev. Joshua Harvey, 93 years of age, died at the county farm, south of Kahoka, Monday, September 20, 1897 and was buried at Luray, Tuesday, services being conducted by Rev. E. C. Drew. The deceased was a native of Vermont but was for many years a citizen of Luray. He preached the Gospel for more than 50 years. About a year ago he went to the county farm, where he remained by choice, offers of more pleasant quarters by his church being rejected.
