Ralph "Mutt" Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010. Ralph was the son of Martin and Iola Larson. He graduated from Scandia High School in 1948 and attended Kansas Wesleyan University. Soon after, he joined the Air Force and was assigned to Yokato Air Force Base where he played Semi-Pro Baseball. He served his four years of enlistment and then returned to rural Norway, Kansas where he married his wife Jan. 31, 1953.
They raised five sons, Steven, Craig, Bradley, Monte and Todd. Mutt and Noni farmed for 34 years, along with their boys. Mutt retired from farming and started a trucking business.
He owned and operated Larson Trucking for 23 years and reluctantly retired from all his work. He and Noni moved to Salina, Kan.
Mutt is survived by wife of Salina, Kan.; a brother, Glenn Larson and wife Cynthia of rural Scandia; a son and wife of Salina; a son and wife of Norway; a daughter-in-law of Abilene, Kansas; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Iola Larson; sisters, Ila Marie Barleen and Pauline Smith; and sons Steven, Craig, and Bradley.
