George W. Etter, of No. 143 Dorwart street, died on Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock of general debility, due to a carbuncle. He had been ill only a few weeks. Mr. Etter was born in this city and was a son of the late John and Elizabeth Etter. His entire life was spent in this city, for many years he being employed as a carpenter. He subsequently was employed at Copeland's restaurant until the death of Mr. Copeland. Mr. Etter was a member of Trinity Lutheran church. Besides his wife, who was Elizabeth Mischlich, the following children survive: Philip, John C., George W., Annie, wife of Frank Fritsch, Lancaster; Catharine, wife of Harry Sheehy, California; Louise, wife of Harry Little, Pottsville; Margaret, wife of Paul McComsey, Brooklyn; Mary, at home. These brothers and sisters also survive: Samuel and James Etter, Lancaster; Mrs. Sarah Frankford, Lancaster; Miss Annie Etter, Lancaster.
