Mrs Sintha Elizabeth Campbell Clark, wife of E B Clark, died June 1 at her home here. She had been suffering from heart trouble for several months but her condition was thought to be improving. At the time of her death, she was sitting in the swing on her front porch.
Mrs Clark was 45 and was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church. She had lived in Monterey her entire life.
She is survived by her husband, 7 daughters: Mrs O B Boman, Livingston; Mrs Beecher Jackson, Mrs H D Whittaker, Millo, Mildred, Marjorie and Margaret Clark of Cookeville; 3 sons, Carson, James and Shirley; her father, James Campbell of near Cookeville; 1 brother, Amon Campbell, and 3 sisters, Mrs Marvin Stanton, Mrs L Jones and Mrs J Kirby of Nashville.
Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev J T Reed and burial was in the Monterey cemetery.
