Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 19, 2010 at Grace Community Church, for Georgia Lee "Jackie" Allen, age 92, of Roswell, who passed away July 14, 2010 at her home in Roswell. Pastor Rick Hale of Grace Community Church will conduct the service with burial at South Park Cemetery.

Jackie was born May 3, 1918 near Prosperine, Missouri to Harry and Nova Lenore Benton McKelvey. Her parents preceded her in death.

She married George "Pete" William Allen on June 28, 1942, in Nashua, Iowa. He also preceded her in death.

Jackie was a homemaker and a member of Grace Community Church. Jackie had a lifelong interest in music. She was a founding member of the Enchanters singing group in Roswell and was part of the group for about 25 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Connie Gracie and her husband Cary John of El Paso, Texas, 2 grandchildren; Christine Dittmar and David Andrew Gracie both from El Paso, Texas. She has 2 great-grandchildren that also survive her; Abigail Zoe Dittmar and Jack Andrew Dittmar also of El Paso.
