OBITUARY

Ray W. McMillan, 86, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 1994, at the Leisure Homestead, Stafford.

He was born May 17, 1907, at rural St. John, the son of Henry F. and Hattie M. Ferris McMillan. A lifetime resident of Stafford County, he was a retired farmer.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, Stafford, and was a past member of the Stafford Co-op Board of Directors. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

On March 6, 1943, he married Dorothy M. Ralls at Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jerry McMillan, Stafford, and Dennis McMillan, Omaha, Neb.; a brother Richard McMillan, St. John; a sister, Margaret Schuessler, Oklahoma City, Okla.; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peacock-Milton Chapel, Stafford, with Rev. Katheryn Homeier officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John.

Memorials to the First Christian Church or to the Leisure Homestead, both in care of the chapel.
