Frederick Ace
Frederick Ace, 57, of 67 N. 1st St., Bangor, died this morning at his home. He had been ill several months.
Mr. Ace was born in Pen Argyl, a son of the late Depue and Elenora Counterman Ace. He was a lifetime resident of the Slate Belt Area. For the last six years he lived in Bangor.
He was an employee of the Lehigh & New England Railroad Co. for 28 years until 1948. For five years he was employed at the Diamond Slate Co., Pen Argyl. Before January 1958, when he retired due to ill health, he was employed by the Bangor Mills in Pen Argyl.
Surviving are his widow, the former Irene Hendershot; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Frutchey, Bangor; two sisters, Mrs. Arch Buskirk, Bangor, and Mrs. Russell Jones, Easton; three brothers, Charles and Ervin Ace, both of Pen Argyl, and Clayton Ace, Wind Gap, and a granddaughter.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Swoyer Funeral Home, Pen Argyl.

The funeral of Frederick Ace, 57, of 67 N. 1st St., Bangor, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Swoyer Funeral Home, Pen Argyl. Mr. Ace died yesterday at his home.
Among his survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Harold Frutchey, Bangor, and a brother Milton Ace, Belfast.

The funeral of Frederick Ace, 57, of 67 N. 1st St., Bangor, was held yesterday afternoon at the Swoyer Funeral Home, Pen Argyl. Mr. Ace died Monday at his home.
The Rev. Warren P. Mohr, pastor of Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church, Pen Argyl officiated. Internment was in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl. The pallbearers were Ralph, David, Carl and Richard Hendershot, Edward Ace and Ervin Ace Jr.
