Galesburg, IL - Elizabeth R. Miller, 82, of 748 Beecher Ave. died at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1992, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
Born April 21, 1910, in Galesburg to William and Etta Fooks Canfield, she married Herman F. Miller in 1929 in Peoria. He died in 1950.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are one sister, Grace E. Johnson of Galesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She worked in the ladies department at J.C. Penney from 1951 to 1975. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women's Circle.
Burial will be in Oneida Cemetery.
