Florence Mildred Jones, 89, of Woodson died early Monday morning, January 14, 2002 at Barton W. Stone Christian Home in Jacksonville. She was born April 6, 1912 near Woodson the daughter of Rueben "R.C." and Ida Mabelle McCurley Megginson. She married Clyde W. Jones on January 25, 1929 in Jacksonville and he preceded her in death on September 21, 1983. She is survived by one daughter, Ida (husband, Robert "Ben") Seymour of Waverly; one son, Clyde "Sonny" (wife, Beth) Jones of Woodson; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sara Jane Basham of Jacksonville and Phyllis Irene Helliwell of Winchester. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Leona B. Thompson; three sisters, and five brothers. She was a homemaker. She had worked at J. Capps and Sons for several years. She was a member of the Woodson Christian Church. Services were entrusted to Williamson Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
