Bearson Services Set For Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Bearson, 79, pioneer resident of Fertile, and mother of Mrs. Gertrude Glain of Crookston, have been arranged for Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Stenshoel Chapel here. The Rev. G. W. Tolo of Fertile, will officiate.
Named as pallbearers are Dale Pihlstrom, Gordon Glain, Dean Heng, Merl Grupe, D. Richards and Vincent Jones.
Mrs. Bearson died early yesterday in a local hospital, aftera four months' illness. Her husband, the late Ben E. Bearson, died in 1939, and she was also preceded in death by her son, Edwin E. who died in 1941.
A resident of Fertile for 50 years, Mrs. Bearson had made her home in Crookston with Mrs. Glain during the past two years.
Surviving besides her daughter are seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; her sisters, Mrs. H. Presteen, Appleton, Wisconsin; Mrs. Clara Bearson, Osakis and Mrs. Clarence McLaughlin, Columbus, Ohio, and two brothers, Fred Bundrock of Britton, South Dakota, and Willie Bundrock, Kalispel, Montana.
The body of Mrs. Bearson will lie in state this afternoon and evening and tomorrow until the service at Stenshoel Funeral Home. The casket will not be opened after the services.
Interment will be at the Fertile cemetery with the Erickson Funeral home at Fertile assisting with arrangements.
