Virgie Biddy Kirby of San Angelo, 89, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Runnels County Rehab and Nursing Center in Ballinger, TX. Virgie was born October 3, 1920 to Fred and Minnie Taylor Beavers in Paducah, TX. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Wilkerson and Reverend Jay Conway officiating. The burial will be on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah, TX at 11 A.M. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home, San Angelo, TX. Virgie married L. Clifton Biddy on August 9, 1937 and together they had 3 sons. She moved to San Angelo in 1961 and worked at Shannon Medical Center in Food Service Supply as a Dietician for 20 years. Meme loved spending time with her grandchildren and attended all their baseball games. She loved to paint and was a member of Harris Ave Baptist where she loved to volunteer and work. Virgie was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Minnie Beavers, Her husband Clifton Biddy and two brothers; J.W. Beavers and Eugene Beavers. She is survived by her sons, Clifton Wayne Biddy of San Angelo, Chester Ray Biddy of Euless, TX, Gary Don Biddy and wife Janice of Marble Falls, TX, five grandchildren; Lonna Landers and husband Lonny, Christy Christian and husband, Janna and Tommy Simmons, and Joey Biddy, six great-grandchildren; Layton and wife Monica, Lance and Landon Landers, Cody and Natali Schulz and Zak Christian, one great-great grandchild, Aiden Landers, and one on the way. Her nieces Fredia and husband Joe Province, Linda and husband Johnny Stanley, great niece Kelly Gill, a sister, Eula Mae Adams of Plainview and two very special friends; Mary Emmons of San Angelo and Misty Bellamy of Euless. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Runnels County Rehab and Nursing Center for all of their care and support.
