Clifton Wayne "Shorty" Biddy, 84, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 13, 2023, in San Angelo. Wayne, affectionately known as "Shorty," was born June 28, 1938 in Paducah, Texas to Lonnie and Virgie Beavers Biddy. He grew up in Paducah and after school, enlisted in the United States Army and served his country honorably during the Korean War. He worked various jobs, including helping at the family Service Station, before settling in at the T.J. Warren Company where he became a lineman and cable splicer. He married the love of his life Bobbie Lynn Jones on October 12, 1970.

Shorty was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who devoted his life to his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes, he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting his weapons and watching westerns and the three stooges on T.V. Shorty also had a tremendous faith in the Lord and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as an usher and also served the church in other capacities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bobbie, and one brother, Chester Ray Biddy.

Shorty is survived by his daughter, Lonna Landers, and her husband Lonny, of San Angelo; his grandchildren, Layton Landers and his wife Bryanna, Lance Landers and his wife, Briley, and Landon Landers and his wife, Hannah, all of San Angelo; 8 Great Grandchildren and one on the way; his brother, Gary Biddy, of Marble Falls; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous close friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church in San Angelo. The burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincerest thanks and appreciation to all the nurses at Shannon Medical Center and to the nurses at Hospice of San Angelo for all the loving care given to Shorty.
