After a long sickness Mrs. Sarah E. Cotton Died Sunday.
The sad news of the death of Mrs. Sarah E. Cotton, wife of S. E. Cotton, Esq., of Minnesota City will carry grief to her many friends and acquaintances. Mrs. Cotton has been sick for about a year with disease of the heart, which finally brought on a stroke of paralysis from which she died Sunday evening at 7:40. The deceased was born in Berwick, Maine, her maiden name being Roberts, she was 65 years of age and had resided in Minnesota City for 41 years. Mrs. Cotton was not only a devout member of the Baptist church, but an every day Christian in all the the work implies. No higher eulogy could be pronounced and she is deserving of nothing less. She leaves to mourn her loss a devoted husband and a grown up family of six sons and one daughter, and two young grand-sons to whom she has been a mother, as well as grand-mother for years, besides, everybody who knew her. The funeral will take place from the Baptist church, Minnesota City, at 2 o'clock Tuesday.
