Surviving are his wife, Erlene; two sons, L. Gene Pierce, Alexandria, and G. Dean Pierce, Anderson; a daughter, Sue May, Alexandria; a brother, Ray Pierce, Bedford; two sisters, Lilly Baledge, Alexandria, and Emma Montgomery, Lake City, Ark.; three half-brothers, Harold and Ralph Pierce, both of Muncie, and L.J. Pierce, Pensacola, Fla.; a half-sister, Delma Aranas, Muncie, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Noffze Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery. Friends may call 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
