ALEXANDRIA, IN- Glendel "Dean" Pierce, 77 passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born on January 13, 1938 in Childers, Arkansas to Omar and Erlene Pierce. He was a graduate of Alexandria High School-Class of 1955 and Ball State University. He worked as a CPA at Grissom Air Force Base and more recently drove as a commercial truck driver, retiring in 2000. Dean was a former member of the Muncie Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years-Judy (Mills) Pierce
5 Daughters-Cheryl Pierce, Lois Pierce, Michelle Smith, Sandra Funk and Kimberly (Tom) Bagley
4 Sons-Richard (Brigette) Campbell Sr., Thomas (Stephanie) Campbell, Arthur Campbell, Tannar (Amy) Campbell

He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother-Wendal "Gene" Pierce, Sister-Sue May, Grandson-Harley S. Davis, Son-in-law-Curt Funk

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at 6 pm on Friday, November 6, 2015 in the Alexandria First Baptist Church, 2107 South Park Avenue (State Road 9 South). Pastor Michael Deutsch will officiate. Friends are invited to call at the church after 5 pm on Friday prior to the services.
